Grounded in the belief that movement was borne to unify us as a people and communicate on a deeper level, Zoe Rappaport is a highly sought-after creative force who has been bridging worlds in the industry over 15+ years. With a versatile background (dance/choreography, visual arts, casting, makeup & music), Zoe works across many creative fields in editorial, fashion and tv/film to live performance, music videos and immersive, site-specific work. As a Creative Movement Director / Choreographer for global artists, brands and publications, Zoe has worked with Estée Lauder, Vidal Sassoon, Grammy-winning artists and pop culture icons.
From movement directing Alexis Ren to The Fat Jewish to Danielle Lauder (Estée's great-granddaughter), Zoe's expressive style transcends genre, discipline & era — equipping her with the artistic sensibility and skills necessary to uncover the intrinsic movement within a diverse array of talent. Every brand has a story to tell, and it is Zoe's passion, ability to listen to her clients and collaborative spirit that makes her an invaluable addition to any creative team.
The daughter of a late civil rights/anti-war activist and a leader of expressive arts, Zoe was raised with the understanding that dance & the arts are deeply woven into the fabric of social justice. She is passionately committed to mentoring the next generation of empowered dance-artists, bringing movement into new and unexpected places, and elevating the field as a whole.

Working with world-renowned choreographers by the time she was 18 years old,
Zoe Rappaport has been involved in the industry over the last 15 years across many related fields
(dance, choreography, creative direction/production, casting, music, hair & makeup) and platforms
(still, motion, performance/stage). As a Creative Movement Director, she has worked with global brands, artists
and publications such as Estée Lauder, Vidal Sassoon, Grammy award-winning artist ZHU and "LOVE" Magazine.
From movement directing Alexis Ren to The Fat Jewish, Zoe's versatile background transcends genre/style,
equipping her with the skills to work with a diverse array of talent.
A true interdisciplinary artist, Zoe was lucky enough to be mentored by legendary makeup artist Linda Mason in Soho NY who introduced Zoe to a whole new perspective and world in regards to the intersection of art, beauty, fashion and movement. Zoe has since worked on fashion shows for Hermés to music videos for A$AP Rocky
to popular television shows So You Think You Can Dance and America's Got Talent.

Currently, Zoe serves as the Creative Producer for Dare to Dance in Public Film Festival (D2D) — a dance film festival dedicated to democratizing dance in collaboration with some of the top professionals in dance and film including founder of D2D Sarah Elgart as well as Kristy Edmunds, Stephen Galloway, Louise Lecavalier and many more. She also curates performances for UTOPIA, the soulful house music & dance experience that was birthed in Leimert Park during the pandemic. Featured artists have included House of Ninja, Toyin Sogunro & Lily Frias performing alongside legendary DJs Tony Touch, Rashida, KG Superstar, DJ Ade & more at venues such as Grand Park DTLA, The Peppermint Club & Mama Shelter in collaboration with Live Naton and The Music Center.

Zoe also curates the dance element of UTOPIA, LA's premiere weekly soulful house music & dance event, while working closely with Live Nation to bring dance-centric events to their venues throughout Los Angeles...

Zoe has performed the works of world-renowned choreographer Adrienne Hawkins (Impulse Dance), Jimmy Locust (Michael & Janet Jackson, Paula Abdul), Billy Siegenfeld (Jump Rhythm Jazz Project), Kathryn Posin, Sarah Elgart/Arrogant Elbow and Mecca Vazie Andrews. Since 2010, Zoe has performed and/or shown her multidisciplinary work at venues such as The Geffen Contemporary at MOCA, World of Dance NY, Webster Hall, Dance New Amsterdam, LaMama Experimental Theatre, The Bootleg Theater and The Hatch Shell. Her dance film work has been featured in Dance Magazine as well as screened internationally at film festivals in Los Angeles, New York and Istanbul.

In 2014, Zoe had the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to work on the legendary dance piece "HEARTBEAT" (toured internationally by Mikhail Baryshnikov in the '90s) — created by international sound artist Christopher Janney & choreographed by Sara Rudner. As part of a psychedelic rock concert at Gramercy Theater, Zoe had the privilege of interviewing legendary musicians Sheila E, Bill Laswell, Lynn Mabry, Trilok Gurtu, Dave Revels (The Persuasions), DJ Adam Gibbons, DJ Logik, Sara Rudner & Dancer Sunny Hitt. A highly sought-after creative collaborator, Zoe has brought her unparalleled skill set to a number of innovative projects with prolific artists including mixed-media installation artist Laurie Shapiro, SYTYCYD's Comfort Fedoke, musical artist Londrelle, NYC-based performance poet Libby Mislan, Sweden-based producer Zaquan & more.
